Ratangad fort is a part of the Kalsubai range, which consists of some of the highest peaks in the Sahyadris. Ratangad gives you the best views of surrounding peaks and Bhanadardara dam. Experience the colossal cliffs unfolding in front of your eyes, one behind the other as you walk on the edge of the fort.

The robustness of Sahyadris can be experienced only from a few forts and Ratangad is one of them. Standing in the “Eye of the Needle” is a major attraction.

  • 09:00 PM: Report at IMDR Gate , FC Road 
  • 09:15 PM: Pick up from Shivaji Nagar , New bus stand
  • 09:30 PM: Pick up from Nashik Phata

Day 2,

  • 05:00 AM: Reach Base village- Ratanwadi
  • 05:30 AM: Get freshen up
  • 06:00 AM: Have breakfast
  • 06:30 AM: Post briefing and instructions start the trek to Ratangad Fort
  • 10:00 PM: Reach the Ratangad Fort Peak, explore the Fort, and its amazing views, do photography
  • 11:00 PM: Start descending to the base
  • 02:30 PM: Reach Base village
  • 03:00 PM: Have lunch
  • 04:00 PM: Start return journey to Pune
  • 10:00 PM: Reach Pune
